ABOUT THE COLLEGE
C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering & Technology (CAHCET) was established in 1998 by the renowned educational society, Melvisharam Muslim Educational Society (MMES) fostering education for more than 100 years (Established 1918). The college offers a range of undergraduate programs in engineering & technology courses, postgraduate programs in Engineering, Business Administration, and Computer Applications, along with a doctoral program in Engineering. Strategically located on the Chennai-Bangalore Highway, just 6 km from the industrial hub of Ranipet, the college has built an outstanding reputation for academic excellence since its inception. Through its unwavering commitment to educational innovation and quality, CAHCET continues to develop highly skilled professionals and nurture the next generation of engineering leaders.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering has been an integral part of our institution since its establishment. The department has got permanent affiliation status from Anna University, Chennai. Continuously striving for excellence, we develop competent mechanical engineers equipped with the knowledge, skills, and leadership qualities required for successful professional careers.
